Chef Terry Multhauf Originally from Southern California, Chef Terry Multhauf’s culinary interest lies in a solid commitment to the concept of 'American grill'. As culturally diverse are the people in America, Chef Multhauf’s recipes span the globe and come back to a common place. “Premium Ingredients, Well Prepared, Simply Presented” After a cook’s tour of some Vancouver Island restaurants, Terry received his chef’s papers and moved to Vancouver. Terry began his professional career as a chef at Joe Fortes Seafood & Chophouse (just around the corner from the Rex). As executive chef, Terry realized he had truly made the right career choice. He proceeded to make a mark in Vancouver’s culinary landscape. As time progressed an offer to chef in his own restaurant with only a couple of partners enticed Terry to make the move to the Rex. He hasn't looked back since. Along with his responsibilities as chef and partner of the Rex, Terry finds time to sit on the board of a local charity as well as teach cooking classes.
